Register before June 8th and save $100.00Please note: This event is just days away! We need your registration forms and proof of insurance as soon as possible! Get your registration in to us by Tuesday June 8 and SAVE $100.00!!! It‘s time to “Run for a Cure”! Our first run for the season is quickly approaching. Registrations and proof of insurance are coming in but its time to pick up the pace. Early bird registration ends June 8th so download the registration and annual membership form and save $100.00 regular registration fees. Event Itinerary Departure start times may vary plus or minus 15 minutes. Starts approved only when all boats are ready. * 8:00 a.m. Poker Run Registration Opens * 9:30 a.m. Compulsory Drivers Meeting Note: Drivers Kits and Boat Numbers Will Be Given Only to Those Attending the Drivers Meeting, Have signed the Waivers and provided Proof of Insurance. Boats with Chart/numbers Will Be the Only Boats That Run in the Event. Police May Detain "Tag along Boats" as They Are a Liability to the Event and Others. * 10:00 a.m. "Start Your Engines" Depart port of Orillia & Stage outside seawall for Boat Parade (both groups) North bound on Lake Couchiching around Big Chief Island through the Atherley Narrows to Lake Simcoe * 11:00 a.m. 1st First Wave "55mph class" departs for Lagoon City * 11:05 a.m. 2nd Second Wave "over 55mph class" departs for Lagoon City * 11:15 a.m. Check Point #1 Arrive at Lagoon City. - 20 miles * 11:45 a.m. Both Groups Stage for parade of power along Lagoon City shoreline and on to Barrie. 55mph class leaves first, over 55mph class leave 5 minutes later * 12:15 p.m. Arrive at Heritage Park Barrie Downtown waterfront stop #2 - 25 miles * 12:30 p.m. 55 mph group Departs Barrie for Starport Landing Lunch stop #3 Over 55 mph group leaves 5 minutes later * 1:00 p.m. Arrive at Starport landing for Lunch - 25 miles * 3:00 p.m. Both Groups depart Starport Landing together for Peferlaw stop #4. * 3:20 p.m. Arrive at Peferlaw - 18 miles * 3:35 p.m. Depart Peferlaw, proceed through the Atherley Narrows back to the port of Orillia - 22 miles * 4:15 p.m. Arrive Dockside Port of Orillia Stop #5. Proof of Insurance and Additional Name InsuredIn an effort to keep our event fees affordable year we have a new insurance carrier. It has been requested by our New carrier that all members insured contact thier brokers and request that Performance Boat Club Events Inc. be named as additional insured. Performance Boat Club Events does exactly the same for all of its active members for each and every event. This initiative is an effort to reduce the exposure to any potential liability for the The Sponsors and Members of PBCE Inc. Proof of insurance with minimum 2m of liability coverage for the event should be faxed to (705)326-2289 or emailed to info@performanceboatclub.ca. prior to the event date.
