



1000 Islands Summer Splash Charity Poker Run June 1-2
Performance Boat Club Events (PBCE) presents in sponsorship with the Town of Gananoque and the Thousand Island Accommodation Partners the “Thousand Islands Summer Splash Charity Poker Run”.
Come join us June 1-2 in Gananoque for PBCE’s 2012 season opener to check out some of the most extreme and unique boats in North America with proceeds supporting the Town of Gananoque Joel Stone Park Splash Pad and the Gananoque Food Bank.
This exciting weekend event starts off with a “Raffle for Rides” event on Friday afternoon from 4-6pm. Come down to the Gananoque City Marina to purchase your tickets for a chance to win a ride in one of the poker run boats!
After an exhilarating day on the water starting at 10:30am and ending at 3:00pm, the boat participants and general public are invited to the “Auction and Awards Dinner” being held at the local Clarion Inn(Blink Bonnie) at 7:00pm. Tickets may be purchased for $50.00 per plate (includes tax and gratuities).
Early bird registration entry fee on or before May 22, is $375.00 ($475.00 after May 22) and includes event participation for driver and navigator, driver’s kit, 2 nights mooring, event shirt, Poker Runners Cocktail reception, breakfast, lunch and Auction Awards dinner. There will be two classes of boats, under 55mph and over 55mph class. The run is approximately 80 miles of breathtaking views departing from Gananoque Marina for a parade to Clayton NY, Boldt Castle (Heart Island), Alexandria Bay NY, Brockville and Rockport and returning to Gananoque City Marina. So don’t miss out on the opportunity to have fun while donating to worthwhile cause.
The weekend doesn’t end after this spectacular event as on Sunday June 3rd the Town Park will be overrun with cars, trucks and more for the vehicle enthusiasts at the Lions Club Cruise In Car Show.

The second run of the season is being held on the Ottawa River,Petawawa , PBCE would like to welcome Edwards Mazda as our title sponsor. You won't want to miss this opportunity to boat on the Ottawa River, as it doesn't come around every year. The event fundraiser will be in benefit of our Military.
This year at PBCE would like to welcome Total Traffic Services as our Title Sponsor for the July 7th Georgian Bay Run.
The charity of choice for this event will be Crohn's Colitis Foundation of Canada.
Last years event was such a success we are doing it again. This years’ event title Sponsor is Royal Lepage North Bay Real Estate Services and again it is being hosted by Inn on the Bay. We will be making our lunch stop at Lu Lu’s Bar and Grill in Callander.
