* Boat must be insured during the time frame of the event. A certificate
of insurance is mandatory for event registration.

running of the Poker Run.
We started the motto "Water on the Water - Beer on
the Pier" and we stand by it. If you disobey, you can't play.
* Obey the rules of the waterways. We share the lake, not own it. Use
channels marked by marker boats, FLYING PINK or YELLOW FLAGS, to avoid
running close to public viewing areas at starts and stops. Caution areas are
at ALL starts and stops. Expect heavy congestion on water in Narrows
entrance to Lake Simcoe, Lagoon City and in Kempenfelt Bay approaching and
leaving the Barrie area. Remember the media and public are watching our
sportsmanship and safety presentation.
* All boats must obey and follow the Pace Boat during rolling starts.
Passing the Pace Boat is allowed only when flag is lowered.
* All boats must slow down before passing the flagged check point boats
* All boats should pick a straight line course and stay in it. Spacing
of 100ft. between boats MUST be maintained.
* YOU CANNOT TRANSFER PASSENGERS TO OTHER BOATS WITHOUT PROPER APPROVAL
OR AN EMERGENCY IN PROGRESS.
